Cee Knowledge AKA the Doodlebug original member of the Grammy Award winning Digable Planets is a North Philadelphia native, who founded the group the CFO (Cosmic Funk Orchestra) made of the members Kai-Chi , Gnomia Grey, Cash-I$, and DJ Soulbuck just to name a few. A canceled tour last year led Cee Knowledge to do a tour with his old partner and friend Ish AKA Butterfly, but now there are new things on the horizon. On January 25th Cee Knowledge will be in studio to talk about all of the above, along with the Freestyle Finale, and the second half of The Tribunal.

Son Sharod, a “child of god” was born in West Chester PA, where he learned at a very young age how much he was intrigued by music. During his life, he had relocated to several states and towns, for reasons concerning his family who are of the utmost importance to him. The relocation helped broaden Son Sharod, and introduced him to the various types of musical influences in his life.
It was at the age of 14 when he started to write and save unformulated verses. It wasn’t until a move back to Pennsylvania from a short stay in Colorado Springs, where he met up with future business label mates and associates of High Intentions (group). He went on to do a few tracks with them and recorded a mix tape, which was more for fun and experimenting. As time went on Sharod again relocated to several other places. In return, he lost contact with a lot of people. At the end of his moving around he found himself incarcerated.
Throughout his sentence, he received the heart breaking news of his father’s murder. This was the ultimate low of his entire life. After his release, he headed back to PA where he ran into old friends Slicc, Middi, Raw, Bagenni Santoro, and Ess Tha Franchise, who would seem that with out contact had been individually putting puzzle pieces together. As he stated after his release “everything about the music shit kind of just worked itself out.”
The end result is what High Intentions Records has in the works now. Look out for Son Sharod, who has a versatile flow that could captivate the connoisseurs of today’s music that are sick of the effortless, watered–down material that has been corrupting the airways for years. Sharod's debut album is titled “The Dedication” due out in late 2009.

High Intentions Records is a Philadelphia based label with a unique sound and vision. Unlike many other labels High Intentions, provides artists the total freedom to express themselves. Our entire goal is to provide talented artists and hungry young MCs a platform to stand out in an increasingly bland music world. From East Coast to West Coast, from the U.S. to around the world, High Intentions works with anyone with a passion for music. Founded in 2007 by Slicc and Manic, High Intentions Records began as a project among friends. Based on basement sessions, Slicc and Manic spent countless hours and many sleepless nights developing a unique sound, that would lay the foundation for High Intentions. Developing lyrics and rhymes that reached across all groups and locations, Slicc and Manic had a universal vision. It didn’t matter if you were a gangster or thug, or a skater or hustler, urban or suburban, the music offered something for everyone. Now, after growing from a friendly project, High Intentions Records is a global presence for fresh new music. Based on the inclusive ideals of Slicc and Manic, High Intentions produces music for everyone. We want the world to hear us. We have High Intentions
