godHead The General
Artist/CEO/Radio Host/Promoter/Video Editor
He's the next to bring hip hop back to the birth place-The Bronx! Since the death of Big Pun there has not yet been a hip hop artist of Latino heritage to represent the Bronx lyrically as godHead The General. What sets godHead The General apart from many of the Latin artists out there [who tend to clone Pun's style] is his unique ability to stay original. Literally written in the stars of his astrological sign that 10/3/74 marks the "day of the trendsetters". Like Buckshot of Black Moon/BCC and Jay Z of Rocafella who own the label they are signed to, godHead The General is not only an artist, but a trendsetting mogul in the making. Initially getting his artist name out through performing; hosting and organizing cipher events with live performance and producer showcase (Mic Check THORsday and Verbal Revolution NYC at The Knitting Factory -both monthly events); acting as an A & R by taking in dope hip hop talent from NYC, Philly, Jersey, to Chicago and developing them; serving as the video editor for artists projects; co-host of the worldwide IIourShow Radio which airs live every week WNJC 1360 in Jersey, and heard online by 1.5 million listeners; Weekly features including godhead The General live performances shown on Philadelphia tri-state’s Comcast Cable on Saturday nights with thousands of viewers; becoming CEO of T.H.O.R Takeover Records, godHead The General unintentionally created a movement in less than two years in Philly. And now plans to expand as he recently returned to New York City.
GodHead The General is a Latin American born during the essence and rise of hip hop. He witnessed the beginnings, the development, and globalization of hip hop right in his own back yard. Godhead had incorporated elements of hip hop into his livelihood before the world had even embraced hip hop as a culture. From break dancing to eventually MCing, he learned that style and originality were vital if you wanted to stand out.
Godhead The General comes from "the hardergrounds". A term that Godhead and his original crew Maniacal Madness used to described The Bronx, and later used this term to describe the rhyme style. It's underground, but with a harder edge, yet still having commercial appeal.
While residing in Philly after being incarcerated in P.A for 4 years, godHead had to create a name for himself in the underground hip hop scene in Philly being that he was from New York. Hence, the movement (started by godHead, Mekz One, Ahdchild, and Sabina Diaz)and godHead's brainchild called T.H.O.R. Takeover (Truth, Honor, Originalit, and Realism-The takeover is an ongoing campaign to change the industry sound back to originality.

Introducing...The Mixtape Coming Soon!
We're taking it back to the days of the actual tape deck era when the DJ ruled the airwaves and displayed their skillz. The days when an emcee made their name by being original. This project is a testament to the art form of DJing and MCing.
This project is an album in the form of a mixtape-all original music with collabs with producers such as: Mekz One(Philly), Nile Hardin (Philly), Edaye and Ambush (Brookyln), The Other Guys (Brooklyn), Kush Shalimar (Philly), Dr. Oo (Queens-ThorTakeOver) and more. Rebel Coalition artists like Mekz One, Ahd Child, Killa Face, Divine Wise, Zakaariyah, and L Tyrannic of Magnum O make guest appearances on the album as well as Charlie K.
Introducing The Mixtape is scratched, cut, and mixed by DJ Soul Buck of Cosmic Funk Allstars. Hosted by Cee Knowledge aka Doodblebug of Digable Planets
