Akua Naru was the first ThorTakeOver artist in 2005 when she connected with godHead The General to oversee her project The Verdict; in which he brought in producer Mekz One to produce almost the entire album. Recording and engineering was done by Ahd Child at 828 Recording. The Verdict features appearances by godHead The General, Ahd Child, Mekz One, Prosper Jones, Distant Starr, and more. Akua is well known in the poetry and emcee circuit, catching attention of producers world wide. When you put her in a cipher with a bunch of male emcees, she can tear it down with the hardest and and lyrically gifted like herself. Akua left the states to live in China, and is currently holding down ThorTakeOver in Germany. Stay tuned for what's to come!
